Dentsply Sirona and Rapid Shape have announced the validation of the Lucitone Digital Print® Denture System for use with Rapid Shape’s D50+, D90+, and PRO 20 3D printers. According to the companies, this compatibility enables dental laboratories to produce digital dentures using validated workflows and materials across a broader range of 3D printing platforms.
According to the company, the Lucitone Digital Print Denture System includes materials designed for mechanical strength and tooth durability. The system supports full arch and partial denture production in 16 A–D tooth shades and two bleach options. Rapid Shape’s printers, including the D50+ and D90+ with Automatic Separation Module, are designed for automated, high-volume denture production without requiring manual intervention. The company states that these features allow the production of more than 120 dentures with reduced processing steps.
The validation includes materials for both premium and economy denture options: Lucitone Digital Print, Lucitone Digital Value, Lucitone Digital IPN, Lucitone Digital Fuse, and the Digital Cure Units. According to the companies, this integration allows labs to streamline denture production without the need for complex assembly processes or extended production timelines.
