Exocad has released additional program details for its Insights 2026 event, scheduled for April 30 to May 1, 2026, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. According to the company, the meeting will bring together dental professionals for two days focused on clinical and laboratory education, product updates, and collaboration under the theme “Calling all heroes.”
The expanded program includes a range of international speakers addressing topics across digital dentistry workflows, patient communication, and treatment planning. Confirmed presenters include Dr. Alexis Ioannidis of the University of Zurich, who will discuss communication-driven restorative workflows; Caroline Kirkpatrick, a clinical dental technician, who will examine approaches that combine conventional and removable techniques; Dr. Zhiqiang Luo of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, who will focus on the role of the digital patient in care pathways; Seth Potter, a digital designer and trainer, who will present on smile design and its impact on treatment acceptance and practice growth; and Michaela Sehnert, who will share approaches to patient communication and esthetic outcomes.
Additional sessions include Prof. Dr. Marco Tallarico of the University of Sassari presenting an interdisciplinary workflow using exocad ART and exoplan, and dental technician Lukas Wichnalek introducing a method for esthetic patient data acquisition using TruSmile.
The program also features presentations from company leadership. CEO Tillmann Steinbrecher and Senior Marketing Manager Niloofar Sotouhi will present updates on product developments and future plans, followed by a panel discussion with Chief Technology Officer Maik Gerth and Chief Commercial Officer Novica Savic on digital dentistry trends.
The event will include dedicated sessions from Diamond Partner iTero, with presentations from Dr. Christian Coachman on steps in modern dentistry, and a group session led by Andrea Piantoni, Massimiliano Rossi, Dr. Federico Arosio, and Zelko Relic focused on advanced restorative treatment workflows.
An on-site innovation expo will feature manufacturers and distributors presenting materials, equipment, and CAD/CAM technologies. According to the company, partner sessions on the second day will include case presentations and product updates aligned with the event.
The 2026 program introduces a “Women in dentistry lunch,” described by the company as a networking and knowledge-exchange session focused on professional development and leadership. The session will include a panel moderated by Christine McClymont, with participation from Marjorie Andrade, Beth Collington, and Michaela Sehnert. Registration is required to attend.
According to the company, Insights 2026 will also introduce a rotating spotlight country concept, with China selected for 2026. The program will include region-specific sessions and presentations highlighting developments in that market.
Event registration includes access to lectures, breakout sessions, the innovation expo, and an evening event titled “exoGlam night,” along with optional morning activities such as Tai Chi sessions and a 5K run.
